1. Definitions

“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us” means eXtra Waste operated by Fleetpro Pty Ltd ATF The Stera Trust.

“Customer”, “you”, “your” means the person or business hiring equipment from us.

“Equipment” means trailer bins, wheelie bins, and any related hire items.
-
“Hire Period” means the agreed period from delivery to collection.
2. General Conditions
2.1 By booking with eXtra Waste, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
2.2 The Company reserves the right to refuse service where safety, access, legality or suitability is in question.
2.3 The customer warrants that all information provided during booking is accurate.
3. Pricing, Payment & Deposits
3.1 All prices are shown in AUD and may include GST unless stated otherwise.
3.2 Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
3.3 Deposits (if applicable) are refundable after the equipment is collected and inspected.
3.4 Additional charges may apply for:

Overfilled bins
-
Excess weight
-
Contamination
-
Prohibited waste
-
Extended hire
-
Blocked access or failed collection
-
Repositioning of bins due to unsafe locations
3.5 Failure to pay outstanding invoices may result in debt collection action at the customer’s expense.
4. Delivery, Placement & Collection
4.1 Delivery times are estimates only. Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, access issues or operational workload.
4.2 The customer must ensure safe and clear access for delivery and collection.
4.3 The customer must not move or relocate the bin after it has been placed.
4.4 Bins placed on public roads must comply with all applicable local laws. The customer is responsible for confirming placement legality unless advised otherwise.
4.5 Unsafe or Blocked Collection
If we cannot collect the bin due to blocked access, overloading, safety issues or customer actions, a return/callout fee may apply.
4.6 Placement Requests
We will attempt to place the bin where requested, but final placement is at the driver’s discretion for safety, access and legal compliance.
4.7 Driveway Safety — Possible Road Placement
The customer acknowledges that driveway placement is subject to the driver’s safety assessment on arrival.
If the driveway or placement area is:

too steep,
-
unstable,
-
too narrow,
-
unable to support the bin or vehicle,
-
or otherwise unsafe,
the Company reserves the right to place the trailer bin on the road, provided it is safe and legal to do so.
If road placement is also not safe or legal, delivery may be refused and a callout fee may apply.
5. Customer Responsibilities
5.1 The customer is responsible for the bin during the entire hire period.
5.2 The customer must ensure:

The bin is not moved
-
No damage occurs to the bin
-
No fires or hazardous conditions occur
-
No items protrude above the rim
-
No one under 18 loads the bin unsupervised
5.3 The customer must secure the bin if placed in a public area.
6. Waste Restrictions & Prohibited Materials
6.1 The following items are strictly prohibited unless the customer has prior written approval:

Asbestos
-
Dirt, soil, sand or rubble (unless a dedicated clean-fill bin is booked)
-
Chemicals or hazardous waste
-
Gas bottles
-
Tyres
-
Batteries
-
Liquids, paint, oils
-
Medical waste
-
Concrete, tiles, bricks (unless a dedicated bin is booked)
6.2 Overloading the bin or including prohibited materials will result in additional charges.
6.3 Contaminated Loads
If a load is contaminated or contains prohibited waste, the disposal facility will charge additional handling fees.
6.4 Responsibility
The customer is responsible for ensuring all waste placed in the bin is compliant.
6.5 Prohibited Waste Found at Disposal Site — Additional Invoice
If prohibited or restricted waste is discovered after tipping the load at the disposal facility, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:

A separate invoice will be issued for contamination fees, penalties, or any extra charges imposed by the disposal site.

These charges may be significant depending on the material found.

The customer agrees to pay this invoice in full within the stated payment terms.
No disputes will be accepted once the disposal facility identifies the waste type.
7. Liability
7.1 The Company is not liable for damage to driveways, curbs, lawns, trees, landscaping or underground services unless caused by proven negligence.
7.2 The customer assumes responsibility for ensuring the site is suitable and safe for bin placement.
7.3 The Company is not liable for fines, penalties or compliance issues arising from road placement where the customer has incorrectly advised legality.
8. Hire Duration & Overruns
8.1 Hire periods begin on the day of delivery.
8.2 Additional days may incur further charges.
8.3 If the bin is not ready for collection at the agreed time, extended hire fees may apply.
9. Cancellations & Refunds
9.1 Cancellations must follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
9.2 Once delivered, no refunds apply.
9.3 Same-day cancellations or inability to deliver due to unsafe or unsuitable conditions may incur a callout fee.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By booking through the website, phone, or email, the customer acknowledges that they:

Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions

Agree to all charges including additional fees for prohibited waste
-
Accept that invoices for contamination or extra disposal costs must be paid
-
Understand that driveway placement may not be possible and road placement may occur if necessary
-
Accept that the bin must not be moved after placement
